How can one forgive oneself for acts that one considers unforgivable? Fabio Marra paints a sensitive portrait of Vittorio, a painter whose eyesight is gradually fading due to AMD. Unable to exhibit his work, he has always lived in the shadow of other artists. As a last resort, he decides to forge a masterpiece. His sister Clara then tries to reconnect with him, while the unexpected arrival of his son brings the past back to the surface and forces him to see things differently.
