This encounter invites us to take a sensitive look at the women whom art history and society have often relegated to the background: anonymous workers, domestic servants, laborers, mothers, or invisibilized figures whose daily gestures have nonetheless shaped the world. Through a selection of works, the public will discover how artists have captured these discreet presences, revealing the dignity, fatigue, strength and sometimes solitude of these women. This mediation is intended to be a moment of exchange to question the visibility of women in art and history, while paying tribute to those whose contribution often goes unrecognized. By revealing these discreet figures, "Les femmes de l'ombre" invites us all to reconsider the place of invisible work, and to recognize the value of ordinary but profoundly human women's journeys. Free, open to all.
