Dive into the heart of the mining adventure with your family, friends, or group, and explore the mine tunnels!
Put on your helmet in the “Hall of the Hanged,” just as miners did in the past, and get ready for a total immersion in their fascinating world.
Accompanied by our guides, you and your children will board the mine cage, ready to descend into the depths of mining history.
Once you arrive in the mining tunnels, let yourself be swept away by the guides’ captivating stories as they introduce you to various mining trades and familiarize you with coal extraction techniques.
NEW: At the end of their exploration and to celebrate their achievement, budding miners will receive a booklet related to their visit as well as an apprentice miner’s certificate.
Tours are offered every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. from July 8 to August 26
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Prices: €5 per child / €4 per accompanying adult (up to 2 adults per group of siblings; €9 for each additional adult)
Reservations strongly recommended (limited to 15 people per tour)
The tour includes admission to the Les Mineurs Wendel Museum.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
