The Unis pour la Terre (United for the Earth) association offers a unique nocturnal tour of the Carrière Simon quarry.
For all nature lovers, come and take part in a unique and unforgettable experience, listening to and observing nocturnal fauna.
You'll be able to observe and listen to amphibians at the height of their breeding season, such as the green toad.
The eagle owl, Europe's largest nocturnal bird of prey, which can reach a size of 75 cm, may be heard singing or hooting. The same goes for the tawny owl and other nocturnal birds.
Bats will be heard and observed, thanks to various devices such as a thermal camera.
This outing will be organized with the support of Creutzwald's GECNAL association, and will be rescheduled for the following Saturday at the same time, in case of inclement weather.
