From 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the market will be a place to meet and sample local foods. Starting at 8:00 p.m., the festivities will continue indoors with two different evening events. Admission and parking will be free.
The idea first took shape in March 2026.
Its implementation has recently gained momentum, thanks to the efforts of the Stiring-Wendel Municipal Employees’ Association, the event’s organizer, represented by its president, Hervé Grosius. To quickly bring the project to life, the association partnered with two
co-organizers: L’Eau Blinger, with its events division AUZÉAU, and V and B Forbach.
The three teams came together around a shared goal: to offer an event that starts in
the afternoon and makes people want to stay until evening. The initial plan called for a brewers’ fair, followed
by a beer festival. Given the preparation time and organizational requirements for that format, the decision
was made to hold an evening food and drink market, open to artisans and exhibitors from the culinary arts.
A market to discover the world of flavor
This market was designed to allow visitors to discover products, meet the people who
make them, and take the time to chat. In particular, the organizers wanted to bring in
exhibitors whom the industry’s audience doesn’t often have the chance to encounter. This was a way to introduce new
discoveries to this first edition, while preserving the warm, welcoming spirit of a neighborhood market.
Several brewers were involved in the initial discussions. A few will ultimately be part of this
first edition, alongside other food and beverage professionals. The organizers are delighted by their presence and
thank those who were able to join the project. Brewing expertise thus retains its place at this
gourmet event, designed to welcome a broad audience.
The organizers are pleased to see this project take shape and invite the residents of Stiring-
Wendel and the surrounding area to help bring this first edition to life. Come discover the market, share a meal,
and then enjoy the music: everyone can tailor their evening to their own pace.
