One of the most lyrical and intimate voices in contemporary piano, the great Brad Mehldau has carved out a unique path, embodying the essence of jazz exploration, classical romanticism, and the charm of pop.
In his upcoming release on Nonesuch Records, *Quatorze Rêveries*, Mehldau reflects on the inner experience we create from our own consciousness, independent of others. Written in a spirit similar to his *Suite: April 2020*, *Quatorze Rêveries* is a meditation on the space the composer leaves between the different directions he wishes to explore, allowing the beauty of the music to reveal itself while paving the way for new discoveries.
