Novo Genere Celebrates Christmas with Music in Montigny-lès-Metz
The vocal ensemble Novo Genere will perform its Christmas concert at the Protestant church in Montigny-lès-Metz. Under the direction of Maxime Guyot, the singers will present a new program blending sacred music, classical works, traditional songs, and gospel.
A musical journey between tradition and discovery:
From Johann Sebastian Bach to Adolphe Adam, including works by Alessandro Scarlatti, Hans Leo Hassler, John Brenchley, Michael John Trotta, and Romuald Twardowski, this program will bring together different eras and musical sensibilities.
The voices of Novo Genere will be accompanied by Stéphane Escoms on piano and Léopoldine Lezéan on cello, for an evening filled with emotion, togetherness, and the Christmas spirit.
This concert is part of the Protestant parish’s Christmas market, held in the afternoon in the parish hall located behind the church.
