Ouaga 2000 celebrates the sounds and dances of West Africa: a rousing mix of traditional and contemporary music, supported by collective choreography that gradually draws the audience into the spirit of a great popular festival.
On stage, choreographer and singer Evelyne Mambo, accompanied by musicians Gurvan Loudoux and Amadou Diao, invites young and old to plunge into a universe nourished by childhood memories and the maquis of Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire, those places of life and sharing where music resounds at the top of one's lungs.
