In the first part of the evening: a stage open to all performing arts hosted by the duo mouvementLOReille, who have been organizing CONTES and RENCONT'ES evenings in Malakoff (92) for nearly a decade. Come and let your voice be heard, with a story, a song, a riddle, a poem, a slam, a bill of good or bad humor. We look forward to hearing from you!
Part 2: "Young Consuelo, of gypsy origin, sings on the road with her mother, when she is spotted by a great singing master in Venice. Intrigues lead her to flee, to disguise herself as a man, to be imprisoned and then released. Cont'suelo recounts her adventure and the artist's link to music. Telling the story of Consuelo means talking about George Sand and her unconditional love of music and words. It's also about her views on the status of women in the 19th century. Consuelo's story is an exceptional one, set in the 18th century and written in the 19th by a woman. Telling George Sand's story of Consuelo allows us to connect with the creative genius of this extraordinary writer. To tell it in the 21st century is to connect with the timelessness of creation. Thus was born Cont'Suelo!
