Born in Labdo, in southwestern Darfur, Alzbeer Suliman grew up there and continued his education until he earned his science baccalaureate. Although he had planned to pursue medical school in Khartoum, the political situation in Sudan prevented him from realizing that plan. After arriving in France, he gradually integrated into French society and turned to writing. Co-author of *Le Baume de mon grand-père* (My Grandfather’s Balm), a memoir dedicated to his childhood and his memories of Darfur, Alzbeer Suliman will discuss his life story and the literary creative process at the Fameck Arab Film Festival, before giving a public reading in both French and Arabic. The event will conclude with a book signing.
How to get there ?
