Eric Mie is a singer-songwriter from Lorraine who has been writing and performing songs that blend tenderness and irreverence for over 30 years. His seventh solo album,
“RELÂCHE,” is an album that encourages us to pause and ask ourselves the right questions.
These are libertarian and philosophical ballads, reminding us to live each day as if it were our last—but also not to take ourselves too seriously… and to eat crêpes… or a banana cake… to ward off the blues.
It’s also a poetic—and at times humorous—reflection on a world that’s getting warmer and more heated; and an invitation to escape to the mountain trails.
With a focus on capturing that moment of relaxation and letting go as it happens, this seventh album was recorded, mixed, and arranged by her longtime collaborator, the musician Maël Nesti.
