Group walk through the village streets Organized by the dog-walking group “Balades entre loups à Aumetz,” led by Promen’Owen and Nika & Co—behavioral trainers and pet sitters
On the agenda: A walk with our dogs (in costume or not) Collecting treats from participating residents and businesses
>> Residents and business owners who would like to hand out dog treats can let us know by commenting or sending a private message to: Olivier Gentilini and Rebecca Demat You can also display the small participation poster attached to this post at your front door on the evening of the event!
Practical information: • Dogs must be on a leash and sociable • Is your dog uncomfortable but usually sociable? Please keep a safe distance from the group to avoid accidents, ESPECIALLY WHEN STOPPING • Poop bags are required • Costumes are only for dogs that are comfortable with them (don’t force a dog that isn’t comfortable—a small light-up collar or a themed bandana works perfectly) • Children are not recommended for safety reasons and for the dogs’ comfort. (If you do come with your child(ren), please supervise them and ask them not to shout, run, or touch unfamiliar dogs. No dog will be held responsible for any accident.) No coercive tools (electric collars, choke collars, pet correctors, etc.) • Plan to arrive a little early and bring a dog that has already had some exercise beforehand to help manage its emotions around other dogs.
