Puzzle presents an exhibition of 50 artists’ books from its heritage collections, all united by the theme of night. You’ll have the pleasure of discovering established artists such as Joël Leick, Isabelle Faivre, Frédérique Le Lou Delpech, and Philippe UG, while first-time visitors will be intrigued to discover impressive pop-up books, stunning engravings, leporellos several meters long, and works crafted from rare and precious materials. Since engaging the public is the primary goal of this exhibition space, various digital tools will be available. While visitors will be able to leaf through many works directly, some pieces—which are too fragile to be displayed and are instead kept in glass cases—have been scanned and can be viewed in their entirety in a dedicated area. The Metz-based company Innerverse has also taken on the challenge of creating animations and collaborative games to enable a unique, fun, and interactive exploration.
