Embark on a fascinating journey through time at the Bliesbruck-Reinheim European Archaeological Park. Immerse yourself in the heart of Gallic and Roman civilizations.

11:00 a.m.: The villa and the tomb of the Princess of Reinheim.
2:00 p.m.: The thermal baths and the Roman city.
4:00 p.m.: The eastern artisans’ quarter (special public opening).

11:30 a.m.: The villa and the tomb of the Princess of Reinheim.
2:00 p.m.: The temporary exhibition gallery.
2:30 p.m.: The eastern artisan quarter (special opening to the public).

- Workshop - Introduction to excavation techniques (ongoing, limited spaces, reservations recommended).
The archaeology workshop for children and their families will introduce participants to excavation techniques.
- Audio-guided tours of the Roman and Celtic ruins (running continuously).

- Archaeological Exhibition – “Gold in the Gravel Pit.”
In 1954, the owner of a gravel pit in Reinheim, located in the Blies Valley, made a spectacular discovery: the grave of a Celtic woman containing exceptional grave goods. The objects unearthed—such as gold and amber jewelry and a bronze jug—are among the most important artifacts from the Celtic period (around 380 B.C.).
The temporary exhibition attempts to solve a mystery: Who was this woman whose final resting place is so extraordinary?
- Cross-border photography exhibition - “La Ligne Claire.”
The Archaeological Park is hosting the third edition of the cross-border photography commission “La Ligne Claire” in its Remarkable Natural Area.
German photographer Boris Becker, a leading figure in contemporary photography, was invited to explore the transformation of the river landscapes of the Saar and the Moselle.
Exhibition organized in partnership with the Nouvel Observateur Photographique du Grand Est and the State of Saarland.
The exhibition catalog is on sale in the Park’s gift shop (€25).
- Lecture - “From Neanderthals to the Celts: 300,000 Years of Human Presence in Eastern Moselle” by Sébastien Schmit.

A literature teacher at the J.-J. Kieffer Middle School in Bitche, Sébastien Schmit has been conducting surface archaeological surveys in the Rimling area of the Pays de Bitche for nearly 30 years. These on-foot surveys have led to the discovery of numerous Paleolithic, Neolithic, Mesolithic, protohistoric (Bronze and Iron Ages), Gallo-Roman, and medieval sites.
His research has helped shed light on the origin and distribution of the stones used during Prehistory and Protohistory, led to the discovery of several millstone quarries, and established an inventory of Neolithic polished axes and Neolithic and Protohistoric millstones in Lorraine.
He actively contributes to the research efforts of the Blies Survey Project, which studies the area around Bliesbruck.
In partnership with the Lorraine Society of History and Archaeology.
