Tomb of the Celtic Princess. In 1954, the owner of a gravel pit in Reinheim, in the Blies valley, made a spectacular discovery: the tomb of a Celtic woman containing exceptional funerary offerings. The objects unearthed, such as gold and amber jewelry and a bronze jug, are among the most important artefacts from the Celtic period (c. 380 BC). The temporary exhibition "De l'or dans la sablière" ("Gold in the sandpit") attempts to solve an enigma: who was this woman whose final resting place is so exceptional?
How to get there ?
