France's greatest museums at the Sarreguemines Médiathèque Communautaire? It's possible, thanks to the Moselle Department's Micro-Folie! Supported by the French Ministry of Culture and coordinated by the Cité des Sciences de La Villette, the project revolves around a digital museum. A veritable dematerialized art gallery, it enables visitors to discover or rediscover digitized works on loan from 12 founding national cultural establishments, as well as regional collections. The works are organized in slideshows according to thematic selections. Thanks to a system of tablets that interact with the slideshow, each visitor is free to linger at will on the details of the works that interest him or her. So, to discover Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Kandinsky's Blue Rider, Hyacinthe Rigaud's portrait of Louis XIV and many other works, visit the Médiathèque from April 8. With the Micro-Folie, discover works from the Grand Est collection. Paintings, objects and images recount the artistic and cultural history of our region. Some of the works come from the Museums of Sarreguemines, providing a new perspective on local heritage.
With the participation of the Musées de Sarreguemines.
