The Media Library is organizing a book fair dedicated to the regional language. This event also celebrates authors who help keep our cultural heritage alive and pass it on in all its forms: history, genealogy, literature, children’s books, and much more.
Visitors will be delighted to see familiar faces from our fair, such as the Gau un Griis Association, as well as well-known figures like Jean-Paul Kirsch and Marianne Haas-Heckel. Promising young authors, such as Polat Gokay, will also be present to discuss their works with visitors and sign copies.
A meet-and-greet with Polat Gokay will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Polat Gokay is one of the rising stars of the New Romance movement. Followed by thousands of people on social media under the username “polatandhisbooks,” the young author made a name for himself in the spring of 2025 with “Blindly,” a story inspired by his mother, who suffered a stroke. The book is currently available in two volumes, and he had the pleasure of signing copies at the Paris Book Festival, among other events.
