The Sarreguemines-Welferding Arborists’ Association is organizing an exhibition of the best photos taken as part of a garden contest.
Also on display are a traditional still and other arboriculture equipment.
Vegetable gardens and orchards are part of our region’s heritage, but they are increasingly being replaced by closely mowed lawns and paved areas. Yet it is becoming increasingly important to provide habitats close to nature for native plant and animal species, even in our own gardens.
In our exhibition, we show just how beautiful biodiversity can be, and we hope to encourage people to restore a more natural look to their gardens.
