Performed by the Sarreguemines Conservatory Vocal Ensemble and the INSIEME musicians. The first part was performed by the Conservatory’s “À Pleine Voix” children’s choir.
For nearly half a century, the singers of the Sarreguemines Conservatory Vocal Ensemble have been singing in chorus to bring music closer to people’s hearts.
With this year’s program, the Vocal Ensemble invites you on a journey through the history of the opera chorus, from its origins to the present day. Thanks to the arrangements by conductor Benoit Schaeffer, these pieces—originally composed for orchestras of various eras—are now performed here by 40 amateur choristers and 8 musicians.
Come share this journey into the wonderful and moving world of music.
