Humor - Victor Hugoat | Calendar of events

In life, Bart has two passions: Victor Hugo and rap. Are they really incompatible?

Recently, Bart had a revelation: if Victor Hugo had lived today, he would have been the greatest rapper of all time. The world needed to know. How? By creating a rap song to tell the story of the “Man of the Century.”

Blending stand-up comedy, rap, and a cast of characters, Bart explores Victor Hugo’s life to craft—verse by verse, chorus by chorus—the ultimate biographical rap.
Together with the audience, they’ll recreate the Battle of Hernani, mourn the death of his daughter, be moved by his political speeches, and engage in dialogue with the master himself! With a few guest stars lending a hand: Jul, Nefkeu, PNL, Gazo, Soprano...

This show was awarded the Jury Prize at the 2024 ICART Theater Festival.
