Arsenal – Jean-Marie Rausch
Located on Avenue Ney, the Arsenal is one of Metz’s major cultural venues. A former military building redesigned by architect Ricardo Bofill, it is renowned for its exceptional acoustics. It hosts classical music concerts, recitals, contemporary dance performances, and contemporary art exhibitions.
Les Trinitaires
Housed in a former Carmelite convent on the Sainte-Croix hill, this cultural complex includes three rooms: the Chapel, the Vault and the Pierre-Frédéric Klos Theatre. Les Trinitaires offers an eclectic program ranging from jazz to rock, theater and traditional music.
La BAM (Boîte à Musiques)
Located in the Borny district, the BAM is dedicated to contemporary music. With a large 1,200-seat hall and a 120-seat studio stage, it hosts rock, hip-hop, electro and pop concerts, as well as artist residencies and workshops.
Opéra-Théâtre de Metz
Inaugurated in 1752, the Opéra-Théâtre de Metz is the oldest theatre in France still in operation. This Italian-style theatre, located on Place de la Comédie, offers a varied programme including operas, ballets, plays, and concerts.
Les Arènes de Metz
This sports hall, inaugurated in 2002, is a multi-purpose hall that can accommodate up to 4,700 spectators. The Arenas host concerts, shows, sports competitions and major cultural events.
