Circuit entre rivière et forêt dans le Pays de la Nied

On both sides of the German border, you will be charmed by the peaceful Nied river as it winds along, by shady forests that offer welcome coolness, and by the highlights of the route: the 300-year-old oak tree in Waldweistroff and the famous carved oak in Colmen.

Other points of interest line the route, including an archaeological site and remains in Wallerfangen.

Food lovers can round off their hike at the end of the day at the wine bar “La Verrière”. Along the way, it is also possible to eat at the “Bistro Bagatelle” in Rehlingen-Siersburg.

This itinerary combines the “Le chant des ruisseaux”, “La Nied sans frontière” and “Le peuple du vieux chêne” routes.
