Between its superb historic buildings and it secret charms, the town reveals its unusual concept for town flowerbeds, called “Jardins en Troc”. Since the Peace Garden was laid out in 2003, it has been the town’s centre of gravity. Covering almost half a kilometre, this modern garden unfurls a whole esplanade of stunning plant and mineral combinations, harmoniously dotted along its length. In the centre of the walled town, the garden designers of Bitche also invite you to see the “Street Gardens”, more examples of creativity and a willingness to share that you can enjoy as you take a lushly green walk assailed by sweet fragrances!
