The Castel is a Gallo-Roman former promontory fort. Reference was made to it as early as 1237, and the chapel was rebuilt in the seventeenth century. Only the choir, topped with a small bell tower, remains today. It houses one of Nicolas Greff’s masterpieces: an altar from 1696 equipped with a rotating tabernacle.
