In Hagondange, visitors can take in the La Moselle permanent exhibition and documentary centre from 1939-1945. Objects and models, documents, posters are all placed into historical context and recite the drama suffered by our border region, looking notably at the Maginot Line, the evacuations, the funny old war, annexation, Germanification, expulsions, Nazification, Malgré Nous, the Resistance, deportation and the Liberation.

Thousands of documents, photos, newspapers and books on the Moselle from 1914 to 1945 are available to researchers. The Museum also presents the history of the "Malgré-nous" and the Tambow prison camp.
