DAY 1
Metz, the Christmas Capital of Moselle

Your tour begins in Metz, where the city transforms into a vast Christmas village. The five historic squares – Saint-Louis, Republic, d’Armes, Saint-Jacques, and Comédie – welcome you with their chalets, rides, and delicious festive treats.
5PM
In the late afternoon, take your seat inside the nave of the New Temple to enjoy the immersive show “Celestial Experience”, a true sensory journey blending lights and music. Continue your walk along the Lantern Trail, an enchanted forest illuminated by more than 2,000 creations. At Place de République, stop by the Qualité MOSL chalet where you can discover local artisans and take the opportunity to use your €20 voucher.

Overnight stay at the Maison Heler 4* hotel.
DAY 2
Glassmaking and Medieval Markets
9AM
After breakfast, head towards the Crystal Valley. Optionally, visit the La Grande Place Crystal Museum in Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche, which showcases exceptional craftsmanship.
11:30AM
Continue your journey to Meisenthal, a key site of glassmaking tradition. The International Glass Art Centre (CIAV) and the Glass Museum open their doors to reveal the art of the Christmas bauble, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary creativity.
3PM
In the mid-afternoon, head to Hombourg-Haut to enjoy its medieval market, then continue to Forbach, the Christmas biscuit capital, where the market is set within the beautiful grounds of the Schlossberg Castle.
6:30PM
Check-in at La Grange de Condé, a truly charming country house where you’ll enjoy an included dinner before a peaceful night’s rest.

DAY 3
Nature and Enchantment in Sarrebourg
9AM
After breakfast, set off for the Sainte-Croix Wildlife Park in Rhodes. In the heart of 120 hectares, discover remarkable European wildlife living in semi-freedom and let yourself be carried away by the magic of the “Winter Lights”, a magical night-time trail of illuminated installations. Lunch at your leisure on site.

In the late afternoon, head to Sarrebourg and its Christmas market, brought to life by the magic forest — a fairy-tale world of fir trees and enchanting characters. Check-in and overnight stay at the Notre Dame de Bonne Fontaine hotel.
DAY 4
Tales and Lights in Moselle
9AM
After breakfast, head to Sierck-les-Bains, a medieval town nestled in a bend of the Moselle River. Its 100% local Christmas market takes you back in time at the foot of the Castle of the Dukes of Lorraine. Optionally, enjoy a tasting of Moselle wines at the Sontag Estate, paired with a light snack.
6PM
In the evening, travel to Amnéville to experience the Luminescences festival — a spectacular trail through the zoo, illuminated by 10,000 lanterns and light installations. Overnight stay at the Golden Tulip 4* hotel.
DAY 5
End of Stay or Extension

After breakfast, your stay comes to an end — or you may choose to extend the experience with a morning of indoor skiing at Snowworld Amnéville (optional).

The price includes for 1 person: 1 night with breakfast at the Maison Heler 4* hotel, 1 night half board at La Grange de Condé, 1 night with breakfast at the Notre Dame de Bonne Fontaine 3* hotel, 1 night with breakfast at the Golden Tulip 4* hotel in Amnéville, a €20 voucher to be used at the Qualité MOSL chalet on Place de la République, one admission to the CIAV in Meisenthal, one entry to the Sainte-Croix Wildlife Park with Winter Lights, the “Céleste Experience” show at the Temple Neuf, and entry to the Luminescences festival.
Not included: lunches, dinners not mentioned, personal expenses, transport (car hire, category B: +€250 for 4 days) and the following optional visits: “La Grande Place” Crystal Works in Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche (+€8/person), wine tasting at Domaine Sontag in Contz-lès-Bains (+€55/person), Snowworld in Amnéville (+€48/person).
