DAY 1
Christmas flavours and authentic markets

Your stay begins at the end of the day in Hombourg-Haut, where the medieval Christmas market sets up at the foot of the collegiate church. Period stalls, the scent of spices, and a magical setting immediately immerse you in the festive atmosphere.
6:30 PM
Your journey then takes you to Forbach, the capital of Christmas biscuits, which celebrates Moselle traditions in the enchanting setting of the Château du Schlossberg. Gourmet chalets, handicrafts, and musical entertainment bring the town to life.
8 PM
In the evening, head to Sarreguemines for your check-in at the Auberge Saint Walfrid 4*. This elegant and welcoming residence combines art de vivre, refinement, and Michelin-starred gastronomy. Dinner at leisure.
DAY 2
Contemporary glassmaking and Metz in festive attire
9 AM
After breakfast, enjoy a moment of relaxation at the hotel spa. For glass art enthusiasts, an optional visit is offered to the crystal museum La Grande Place in Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
11 AM
You then head to Meisenthal, an emblematic village of the Crystal Valley. The International Glass Art Centre (CIAV) and the Glass Museum open their doors to you: this is where the hand-blown glass Christmas bauble is reborn each year, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary creativity.
2 PM
In the afternoon, you arrive in Metz, the capital of Christmas in Moselle. Five iconic squares (Saint-Louis, République, Armes, Saint-Jacques and Comédie) light up and come alive to offer a festive journey through crafts, gastronomy, and funfair rides. To deepen your visit, an optional stop at the Musée de la Cour d’Or allows you to discover its rich art and history collections. Also take a moment to come to the Chalet Qualité MOSL on Place de la République to discover local producers and use your €20 voucher.
5:30 PM
At the end of the day, take your seat in the nave of the Temple Neuf to attend “Celestial Experience”, an immersive show where music and lights reveal the monument’s beauty. After this poetic interlude, enjoy your evening freely in the lively streets of Metz before heading to the Maison Heler 4* hotel, an exceptional establishment designed by Philippe Starck. Overnight stay.
