General Conditions of Use for Gift Vouchers

These General Conditions of Use are intended to define the rules applicable to the use of Destination Moselle Boxes.

Moselle Attractivité reserves the right to modify these GCU at any time, without prior notice. In the event of modification, the applicable GCU will be those in force at the date of purchase or use of the gift voucher or box, a copy of which in durable format (PDF) can be consulted and printed directly on the www.mosl.fr website under the heading "Legal information".

For those who still have vouchers for the boxes purchased before July 15, 2025, please make sure to use them before the end of 2025. You can find below the booklets corresponding to this version.

Definitions:

• Buyer: refers to the person purchasing a Destination Moselle Box.
• Vendor: refers to Moselle Attractivité, a local tourist organization, an association under the law of 1901, which offers tourist services for sale in its geographical area of operation (Moselle department).
• Beneficiary: refers to the person using the Destination Moselle box.
• Partner: refers to the service provider proposed by Moselle Attractivité and who provides the service to the Beneficiary.
• Destination Moselle Box: gift boxes published and marketed by Moselle Attractivité and enabling the Beneficiary to access a service of their choice from the list of partners available and accessible on the website and in the attached booklet, in exchange for a gift voucher.
• Gift voucher: voucher representing the value of the Destination Moselle Box, which must be deposited with the service provider when the holiday is booked.
• Service: refers to the Service provided by the Partner to the Beneficiary from the selection of offers contained in the corresponding Destination Moselle Box. A Benefit may contain several different and/or complementary activities (for example: a dinner, a cocktail, access to the spa, a night, breakfast, a treatment, etc.).

1. Purchase:

• The purchase of a gift voucher is reserved for individuals and/or legal entities acting for non-commercial purposes.
• The amount of the gift voucher is accepted by the purchaser at the time of purchase and is confirmed in the order summary.

2. Payment:

• Payment of the gift certificate amount must be made in full at the time of purchase, using the payment methods offered on the online sales platform or at the point of sale.

3. Delivery:

• Gift vouchers are delivered by recorded delivery to the address provided by the purchaser at the time of online purchase.
• Delivery times may vary according to destination and logistical conditions.

4. Validity:

• Gift vouchers are valid until the expiry date indicated on the voucher.
• The date on which the gift voucher becomes valid corresponds to the date of purchase.
• No refunds or exchanges will be made after the expiry date.

5. Use:

• The gift voucher can only be used for the services mentioned by the issuer of the voucher and according to the reservation conditions indicated, which may vary from one service provider to another.
• The content of the offers is the sole responsibility of the supplier.
• Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or any other means of payment.
• Availability varies from establishment to establishment and is at the discretion of each supplier.
• Tourist tax must be paid in addition to the services included in the gift voucher, directly to the supplier during your stay.
• The content of the services and the list and number of partners corresponding to the gift voucher are subject to change. The list of partners and services offered is regularly updated on this site.

6. Transferability:

• Gift vouchers are transferable, but any loss or theft must be reported immediately to Moselle Attractivité by e-mail or telephone.

7. Cumulative:

• Gift vouchers cannot be combined with other promotional offers, unless otherwise indicated by the supplier.

8. Refunds:

• No refunds will be made for gift vouchers, except in the event of cancellation of the original order for which the voucher was used.
• Refunds will be made in accordance with the cancellation policy in effect at the time of the request.

9. Loss or theft:

• If a gift certificate is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.
• Responsibility for loss or theft after delivery to the recipient rests with the recipient.

10. Limit of use:

• Only one gift voucher may be used per transaction, unless otherwise specified.
• The photographs and editorial content presented in the Destination Moselle Box are not contractual and are subject to change. Reproduction in whole or in part is prohibited.

11. Modification of Conditions:

• The issuing partner reserves the right to modify the conditions of use of gift vouchers at any time. Users will be informed of any changes.

12. Liability:

• The issuing partner is not responsible for the loss, theft or destruction of gift vouchers after they have been handed over to the recipient.
• The issuing partner assumes no responsibility for the misuse, fraud or abuse of gift vouchers after they have been given to the purchaser.
• The partner is always responsible for the proper execution of the Service, Moselle Attractivité being liable only under the conditions provided for by law o Moselle Attractivité cannot be held responsible for any loss/damage/theft committed during the stay, and the beneficiary is invited to contact the partner as soon as the Service has been executed in the event of any dissatisfaction.
• Moselle Attractivité will inform the beneficiary via its website if a Destination Moselle Box holiday is no longer available before the end of its validity date.

13. Fraud:

• Any attempt at fraud or misuse of gift vouchers will be prosecuted.

14. Insurance:

• The recipient of the gift voucher undertakes to have a valid insurance policy at the time of the holiday.

15. Complaints:

• Any complaint concerning the use of gift vouchers must be submitted within 30 days of the date of purchase.

By using this gift voucher, you accept the present conditions of use. Please read them carefully before use. These conditions can be consulted at any time on the website of the issuing partner.

The website www.box.mosl.fr is published by Moselle Attractivité, a local tourism organization, association under local law, whose head office is located at 2-4 rue du Pont Moreau 57000 Metz, registered with the French travel and holiday operators' register under number IM057230001. Moselle Attractivité has taken out liability insurance with MMA IARD, 14 Boulevard Marie et Alexandre Oyon, 72030 Le Mans. It is financially guaranteed by Groupama Assurance-Crédit et Caution, 8-10 Rue d'Astorg 75008 PARIS.
