Sarrebourg’s Magical Forest of Moselle Christmas

The Magical Forest of Moselle Christmas returns to Sarrebourg, bringing even more festive cheer! In December, Place des Cordeliers transforms into an enchanted world with 22 new lanterns adding to the scene. Wander through the illuminated path, drop your letter in Santa’s mailbox, and soak in the holiday songs that create a warm and joyous atmosphere.
The "Auberge des Lutins" (Elf Inn), covering 120 square meters, is a must-visit for Christmas festivities. The local bakers’ association offers delicious workshops, like the Bredele baking workshop, to share the joy of Christmas treats with children. Nearby, browse the Christmas village with handcrafted items and regional delicacies, while shows and concerts keep the holiday spirit alive.
Regional Foie Gras Festival

The 29th Regional Foie Gras Festival returns to Phalsbourg for an edition full of indulgence and conviviality. This unmissable event brings together 42 stands and 12 chalets dedicated to festive delights: foie gras, wines, sweet treats, and exceptional gourmet products.
A dozen jazz bands will set the rhythm for this warm and festive gathering, a true celebration of Moselle’s culinary expertise. In 2024, the event welcomed nearly 4,700 visitors!
The Living Nativity Scene of Walscheid

For the 40th year, Walscheid invites you to relive the Nativity scene in an authentic setting, brought to life by a team of passionate volunteers. The performance unfolds through several tableaux — the Annunciation, the journey to Bethlehem, the birth of Jesus, and the arrival of the Three Wise Men — offering a truly immersive experience into the story of Christmas.
The weekend will also feature a charming Christmas Market and various festive activities. It’s a unique opportunity to rediscover the magic of Christmas and to soak up the traditional spirit of the holidays in a warm and enchanting atmosphere.
Art and Fire Christmas in Fénétrange
Step into the magic of a medieval Christmas in Fénétrange! The village takes you on a journey through time, with locals dressed in period costumes reviving old traditions. Discover fire rituals, local craft demonstrations, interactive workshops, and lively street performances that fill the heart of the town.
For the occasion, the castle and barns open to the public, offering a unique blend of year-end celebrations and historical heritage. Children are in for a treat with Christmas storytelling at the library, face painting, wood carving, and Bredele baking workshops.
