"Between forests and open spaces, rural and urban areas, viewpoints and tunnels hidden by the vegetation, the cross-border circuit of the Steel will make you discover Alzette Belval as you have never seen it!

The 22 km loop (11 in each country) will take you through the steel cycle. The itinerary can be taken in both directions, but it is recommended to start from Micheville (Audun-le-Tiche, France), a former iron and steel site, now undergoing reconversion. You will then reach the Ellegronn, a former open-pit mine nature reserve, before arriving at the station of Esch-sur-Alzette for a more urban part to Belval. The tour ends by crossing the sensitive natural area of Micheville with its wild orchids and its exceptional viewpoints on Belval.

A part of the circuit is common with the Minett Trail, and it is possible to pass from one to the other at the level of the Belval park, the Esch-sur-Alzette train station and the Ellergronn."
