The Erckmann-Chatrian Regional Trail (GR de Pays) crosses the territories of Sarrebourg and Phalsbourg over a distance of 85 km, between Niderhoff and Oberhof. This route can be completed in 3 to 5 days and leads visitors to discover many cultural and historical sites: Lutzelbourg Castle, the Saint-Louis Arzviller Inclined Plane, the Valley of the Locks, the village of Haselbourg, the Dabo Rock, the Jaegerhof forest lodge, Saint-Léon Cave in Walscheid, the Abreschviller forest train, the archaeological site of Croix-Guillaume, and the village of Saint-Quirin. The trail also passes the birthplaces of André Chatrian and Émile Erckmann.
