Traditional distillation in a wood-fired still is quite simply the best way to prepare eau de vie from the best of Lorraine’s plums. Mirabelles are small golden fruits typical of our region and are presented here in a liquid elixir that will warm more than just your hearts! Mr Guindt harvests and distils the fruit from his own trees in his orchards in Gandren and Rustroff – you couldn’t get any more local! You can book a visit of the distillery and take some of this exquisite beverage home with you: purchase it at the distillery or at the Tourist Office in Rodemack.
