Opening Concert of the 25th Forbach-Völklingen Organ Festival. Eighty choristers—comprising the Festival’s cross-border choir and the Metz Cathedral Choir—will perform Charles Marie-Widor’s monumental Mass for Two Choirs and Two Organs under the direction of Thierry Ferré. Organists Rainer Oster and Jonas Mayer will perform on the church’s two organs. The program also features works by Louis Vierne, César Franck, and Gabriel Fauré. This concert promises to be spectacular!
