Charlotte Lacoste conducted a survey, in Metz, on the memory of the November 13, 2015 attacks. In the resulting book, La Charge mémorielle, she observes significant differences in the memories retained by men and women, and raises a question rarely addressed in the human sciences: is memory gendered?
