- 11:30 am: Aperitif concert by the Orchestre d'Harmonie de Talange.
Conducted by Joël Omhovere and made up of some thirty musicians, the Orchestre d'Harmonie de Talange, created in 2006, offers a varied repertoire combining jazz, film music and the classical repertoire.
- 4pm: Lecture by Dominique Heckenbenner "Epona, from ancient psychopomp goddess to fantasy heroine".
In partnership with the Société d'Histoire et d'Archéologie de la Lorraine.
The discovery of three bas-reliefs of the goddess Epona in an ancient funerary context, on the Moselle sites of Sauvageon and Croix Guillaume in Saint-Quirin, sheds new light on this divinity. Worshipped by the Gauls, then by the Romans, as protector of horses and grooms, she undoubtedly also guided the souls of the dead into the afterlife. Today, she is the heroine of fantasy novels and video games.
