Ready for an unforgettable evening?
The Lix'scènes association invites you to its traditional Summer live #6 ...
Since 2017, Lixing-les-Rouhling hasn't just been making noise, it's also been bringing the independent and underground scene to life.
Every year, we plug in our amps for a festival on a human scale and friendly, always accessible to as many people as possible.
This year, the groove crosses borders, with international bands bringing their sound to our green setting like never before!
During the evening, you can enjoy our delicious pulled pork burger or plate, as well as a vegetarian version (zucchini patty).
On the program:
- 6:30pm - Two Magnets - Folk (France).
Two Magnets, a duo from Strasbourg, dig a folk-blues groove with 60's accents, crossed by a contemporary tension. Two well-balanced voices, raw guitars and inlaid harmonies. Over 200 concerts to their credit: on stage, they vibrate, groove and embark.
- 8:30pm - DD Rey - Blues (France).
Dirty Deep solo. DD Rey distills a dry, rootsy blues, somewhere between dust and wandering. Guitar, harmonica, raspy voice: a stripped-down, taut set with no escape.
- 9:30pm - Reverend Beat-Man & Milan Slick - Blues trash and rock'n roll (Switzerland).
Blues trash and haunted rock'n'roll: head-on collision. Raw, almost physical tension, in the tradition of Nick Cave and Johnny Thunders. On stage, it's dry, intense and uncompromising.
- 11pm - James Leg - Blues rock (USA).
A pastor's son, nourished by gospel, but far from any devotion. James Leg's dark, incandescent blues is driven by a rumbling Rhodes and a voice as rough as gravel. A raw, direct set that hits without warning.
- 0:30 - Public House - Punk (Australia).
Born in a living room, forged on stage. Public House's punk is direct, edgy and unfiltered. The songs follow one another at breakneck speed, and the energy never lets up. On tour in Europe: they play as if everything could end tomorrow.
