Les Amis des Orgues de Forbach are organizing an organ concert on Sunday March 1 at 4pm in Forbach's Protestant Church. Thierry Ferré will play the Haerpfer organ and propose a program based on Johann Sebastian Bach. The organ was the instrument of choice for this genius of Baroque music, who left us numerous works composed for this instrument. The program includes a chorale fantasia rediscovered in 2008, rarely performed in concert. Alternating with the musical pieces, biographical comments will be read to help situate these works in their time. Free admission, on stage. Duration: approx. 45 minutes. Retransmission on large screen.
