Conférence - Les coulisses de l'exposition Louise Nevelson

By Anne Horvath, Exhibition Curator and Head of Programming, Centre Pompidou-Metz

The Centre Pompidou-Metz presents a series of lectures dedicated to discovering what goes on behind the scenes of exhibitions: from genesis to realization, via scenography, technique and the secrets of research. For the exhibition Louise Nevelson. Mrs. N's Palace, this talk will examine two specific aspects of the preparatory research. The first will draw on the archives of Louise Bourgeois and Louise Nevelson, highlighting the parallel trajectories of the two sculptors, as well as their singularities, while the second will focus on the challenges of reconstructing Nevelson's environments for the exhibition.

This lecture is free for Pass-M SOLO, Pass-M DUO and Pass-M Jeune members.
