An outdoor show at sunset, and the chance to dine on pizzas before the show.
Doctor Anton Chekhov doesn't judge his patients. They repay him by becoming characters, and all follow the author, as if to the danse macabre, in this place where mala-die disappears. Elena, Grigori, Natalia, Ivan and Soussanna are under the microscope as if on a stage. Each defends his own vision of the world, of love, of married life.
Chekhov in Love brings together in this program some of the nuggets from the young Russian playwright's tragi-comic repertoire: The Tragedian in Spite of Himself, The Bear, The Mire and The Proposal.
