Sweets and Cats is a must-visit spot for cat lovers and fans of sweet treats. As the very first cat café in the city of Sarreguemines, it offers a cosy and welcoming atmosphere — perfect for a delicious break. At the heart of it all is certified pastry chef Delphine Guette, who delights guests with her homemade creations: cupcakes, cookies, and even vegan options, all made with passion.

What truly makes this place special is the presence of six adorable cats, all available for adoption thanks to a partnership with local associations Les BitcherKatz and Catsfamily57. Here, the cats are the true stars — they roam freely and have a dedicated area just for them, separate from the main café space.

The well-being of the animals is a top priority. Guests are welcome to interact with the cats respectfully: petting is allowed after washing hands, but picking them up or feeding them is not permitted. Sweets and Cats is much more than a tea room — it’s a space for connection, relaxation, and a unique chance to bond with a future four-legged friend.
