PROTESTANT TEMPLE

The first evangelical services were held in Forbach, authorised by Mayor Barrabino, in 1841. The Protestant parish was officially created in 1869 by Napoleon III. At that time, there were 1250 Protestants in the town and it became necessary to build a new place of worship. In 1889, the architect Conrad Wahn of Metz drew up the plans and the consecration of the Gothic Revival Protestant church took place on 1st November 1892.
