Historic monument or place to visit in METZ, on the theme(s) Sacred art, awarded with the Label Listed historic monument (MH).
Built in the 4th century as a Roman palace. Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains is one of Metz's oldest monuments. Transformed several times, its Roman walls and other elements from different periods mark its Romanesque and Gothic history. Of particular note are the remains of its cloister. Today, it has been converted into a cultural venue.
