Bernard Grandidier, a cereal farmer in Fey for many years, decided in 1995 to start a vineyard near his land on the Fey hillside. A fellow winegrower introduced him to the principles of winemaking, and he set up his own cellar and invested in the equipment needed to press, transform, store and bottle his wines.
Direct purchase from the producer in FEY : Wines & Spirits, awarded with the Label Qualité MOSL, AOC.
Today, after almost 20 years of continuous learning and progress, he has made Domaine Sommy an exemplary vineyard in Moselle: 3 hectares for 15,000 bottles per year and he regularly wins gold medals in competitions.
