JARDIN DES TRACES

Contemporary and unusual, this garden was created over 9 acres of industrial wasteland. In the style of a memory garden, it evokes the ironworks and the people who worked there. It is laid out over 3 areas: the Alchemy Garden, Ironworkers Garden and a Garden of Energy Sources. Sculptures by Pierre LUU were created especially for the site. It is a surprising mix of plants, minerals, colour, smell, sound and silence.

Opposite the U4 blast furnace, the Jardin des Traces stretches over four hectares of industrial wasteland. Contemporary and original, it evokes the steel industry and the memory of its workers.
