In this vast 150 m² space in Metz, decorated in red and green, artisans and producers will be offering you a warm and festive atmosphere. As every year, three special sales of Meisenthal’s new Christmas bauble will take place in our “little chalet”, right next to the Chalet Qualité MOSL, Place de la République in Metz:
- Saturdays 22/11, 29/11 and 06/12
- From 11 a.m. until the day’s stock runs out
- Limit of 3 baubles per person (only one red)
2025: Grip — a clever and playful creation by Lucas Lorigeon, designed to prevent those dreaded “shattered bauble” moments.

Throughout the Moselle region, Christmas counters present MOSL quality products at tourist offices in Thionville, Bitche, Sarreguemines, Saint-Avold, Freyming-Merlebach, Forbach, Metz, Sarrebourg, Vic-sur-Seille and Phalsbourg.

The MOSL quality label: for a great Christmas every time!
This accreditation, co-piloted by Moselle Attractivité, the Moselle Department, the Moselle Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Moselle Chamber of Agriculture and the CCI, certifies local quality production, favouring short circuits and highlighting the know-how specific to the Moselle region.
All the accredited bodies are united by a common foundation based on transparency, quality and the promotion of the Moselle region. At present, 586 producers, craftsmen, restaurateurs, tourist sites and accommodation establishments are part of the MOSL Quality Approved Scheme.
What is the Chalet Qualité MOSL?
The Chalet Qualité MOSL is a showcase dedicated to the expertise, products, and artisans of Moselle, installed every year on Place de la République in the heart of the Metz Christmas Market.
Across a space of around 150 square meters, producers, creators, and artisans certified with the Qualité MOSL label take turns throughout the Moselle Christmas season to present the very best of the region: gastronomy, artistic crafts, glass creations, natural cosmetics, beverages, decorations, and gift ideas.
The Qualité MOSL label: a guarantee of Moselle authenticity
Supported by Moselle Attractivité, the Qualité MOSL label highlights producers, artisans, accommodation providers, and restaurateurs who meet strict standards regarding local roots, expertise, and hospitality.
The certified products presented at the chalet are carefully selected for their authenticity and quality.
The label is also found in partner accommodations, local restaurants, Destination Moselle gift boxes, and Christmas counters spread across the region, all contributing to Moselle’s tourism strategy.
What products can you find at the Chalet Qualité MOSL?
The rotating program of exhibitors changes throughout the Christmas market season.
Visitors can discover collectible Christmas ornaments created by Moselle glassmakers such as the CIAV of Meisenthal and the Lehrer Crystal Factory, seasonal gourmet specialties, craft breweries, local distilleries, AOC Moselle wines, and handcrafted creations including jewelry, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, and decorative items.
The chalet also offers many gift ideas for the whole family.
The Qualité MOSL Christmas counters across Moselle
The Chalet Qualité MOSL in Metz is complemented by a network of Christmas counters located in partner tourist offices throughout the department.
These counters allow visitors to discover the Qualité MOSL selection close to each territory: Forbach, Saint-Avold, Hombourg-Haut, Sarreguemines, Sarrebourg, the Pays de Phalsbourg, and the Saulnois area.
Each counter offers a selection adapted to its local traditions and expertise.
Extend the Qualité MOSL experience all year round
Beyond the Christmas season, the Qualité MOSL label can be found throughout Moselle: at local producer markets, artisan workshops, partner accommodations, and restaurants promoting regional products.
The Destination Moselle gift boxes — Évasion d’un jour, Escapade inattendue, Parenthèse d’exception, and Échappées gourmandes — also allow visitors to enjoy or offer certified experiences all year long.
