The horse in art from the 17th century to the present day. The museum presents an exhibition on the evolution of the representation of the horse in art. From equitation to the battle horse, from the noble thoroughbred to the plough horse, the exhibition explores these issues through the works of great French painters such as Théodore Géricault, Ernest Meissonier, Carle Vernet and Eugène Fromentin.
