Practical information

Museum in METZ, on the theme(s) Modern art.
Designed by Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines, with Philip Gumuchdjian designing the winning competition entry, it offers four exhibition galleries covered by a bold roof reminiscent of a Chinese hat. Its 77-metre spire is a nod to the year 1977, when the Centre Pompidou-Paris opened. This engine of international culture hosts temporary exhibitions, live performances, conferences and films to showcase all forms of artistic expression.
