The permanent Mondfänger trail (10km and 20km) starts from Place Robert Schuman. Mainly through woodland, it nevertheless passes close to the emblematic glassmaking site of Meisenthal, with its museum and glassmaking demonstrations.
The route is dotted with curiosities: the ‘Kaltebrunne’, the rocks of the ‘Dreipeterstein’ and the “Breitenstein”, and the viewpoint of the ‘Dreispitz’.
Moderately difficult, not suitable for the mobility-impaired or pushchairs.
The tour can be done on your own or with an IVV participation card, which can be collected from the Ferstler-Fischer - artisan du cristal shop in the centre of Meisenthal.
