Hirbach Pond, located in Holving, is part of the former Maginot Line’s aquatic defenses. Today, it offers a wide range of outdoor recreational activities year-round. Its municipal campground is open from April through October. A fishing school on-site teaches the basics of fishing.
Various events, such as night fishing between March and November, allow both enthusiasts and beginners to try their hand at this hobby.
The wooded surroundings are ideal for mountain biking and hiking. All year round, there is a lovely walk around the pond.
