Musée les Mineurs Wendel

The cradle of Moselle coal has become a place for culture and family fun. Housed in the former administration building of the Wendel headquarters, which includes the miner's hall, the hanging rooms, the shower baths and the lamp room, the Wendel Miners Museum takes visitors back in time to the miner's journey to the bottom of the mine. Eat in the former coal washhouse and plunge into the bowels of this gigantic heritage.

Museum in PETITE ROSSELLE, on the theme(s) History, Industrial & technological heritage, awarded with the Label Musée de France museum.

In a modern and attractive presentation on 1800m2, more than 160 objects and models, 25 audiovisual documents as well as countless photos and documents will plunge you into the history of coal in Lorraine, the daily life of the miner and his family, the social policies of the mining companies while highlighting some particular trades.
